This year for Thanksgiving we had a huge crowd over. My cousin Kaytie and her family live in Lehi, UT and they decided to come down for the weekend. And my cousin John and his family, who live in LA, also decided to come. Then my dad got a call from my Uncle Randy and Aunt Jenny, who live in Oregon, saying they wanted to come as well....we ended up having 17 people over. Six children under the age of six...it was fun chaos.
The trees in front of my parents house were beautiful and really made it feel like Thanksgiving time. Can't have the holiday without a little color in the trees:
Everyone started arriving on Wednesday night. And of course my dad got out his "Big Bear" for the kiddos:
Thanksgiving morning we went on a "Huff n Puff before we Stuff" walk/run at one of our many parks.
Then the cooking and crafting started. It was nice having access to my two ovens. Cooking for that many people was made easy with two kitchens. So while the turkey was cooking in my mom's oven, I was cooking rolls and casseroles in mine.
Here are some pictures of the fun:

The day was a full of yummy food and several pies....fun board games and good company. On Black Friday we only went to a couple of stores...and then later in the afternoon we took a hike to the "Big Foot" by Red Rock Canyon.

It was really chilly walking up to it but it was fun to see. And it was good working off some of the food and pies we had the day before.
It was pretty awesome getting to see everyone. The crowd all left on Saturday and it got really quiet really quick. All and all fun times.
