Then the next day when I checked on Grandma I discovered that she couldn't get out of bed....She said her back hurt too much. I found that while I was away she had fallen in the kitchen. They thought she was okay but as it turned out she had a small break in her back. We called 911 and had her taken to the hospital.
I spent the afternoon and early evening at the hospital getting her settled into a room. They did an MRI and found the break in her back. My dad got home the next week and just a few days later my grandma had a stroke in the hospital. We thought we had lost her but she bounced back...her short term memory is really bad now but she's doing better.
Work on my house went very slowly...it took almost three weeks for them to get started on the rebuild and then it took another two weeks to finish.
And in the middle of the rebuild I got word that my Uncle Darrel and Aunt Dorothy had both passed away. With everything going on I was sad not to be able to go to either one of their memorials.

After my Aunt Dorothy's memorial my brother Doug came home and I got moved into my dad's den....
Luckily that living situation only lasted a few more days and I was able to move back into my house at the beginning of September.
I was finally able to unpack from Costa Rica...only took a month |
Grandma is still in a rehab facility but hopefully she will be coming home soon. Also at the beginning of September my brother Mike decided to move his chiropractic practice and his family up to Spanish Fork, UT. So the time I got my house back I also got my garage back. I'm gonna miss my little nephews though.
Having my own kitchen again has been really nice. I've been cooking a lot lately.

With my renters insurance claim I was able to buy some new couches and a kitchenette set along with some picture frames.

Also in these last couple months I've had to get new tires for my car and get a wheel bearing/wheel hub fixed...that wasn't cheep....
But one day when I came back from the mechanic I found a lovely plant on my doorstep...My co-workers found out about my uncle and aunt passing away and sent it to me.
It was also employee appreciation day at work a few days ago and each of us got one of these:
It's nice to be working for such a great company.
With all the craziness that has happened these last couple of months, it's nice that things seem to be getting back to normal again.
