Bite of Las Vegas 2015

This last weekend a group of friends invited me to go to the Bite of Las Vegas with them. It was really fun getting out of the house. We arrived mid-day so the entertainment was in full swing. We had just missed Andy Grammer on stage but there were plenty of other bands playing. All around the park were food booths set up. We went and got some lemonade first since it was about 100*F out. After about a half hour of arriving the clouds rolled in and gave us some much needed shade. The rest of the afternoon and evening were quite pleasant. Here are some pictures:

We found a nice spot to sit and regroup by the Dole Whip / Dippin Dots booth. We got to hear a band named "Needtobreathe." They were from South Carolina so they had the southern accent, but they were pretty good. Then MIX 94.1 gave out awards for the best food. And then we got to hear "Lifehouse" play. They played some of my favorite songs. It was awesome being at a live concert. Here was one of the videos I took:

After "Lifehouse" played, the singer Matt Nathanson sang....the only song I recognized was his last one. There was only one more band up after him but we didn't end up staying for it. I grabbed some Dippin Dots on the way out.

It was a fun night and I'm glad these guys invited me to come with them. Here's to many more adventures.
