This year it was so nice having Mom in town to celebrate her birthday. With her traveling so much for work it's hard to tell when she will be home. For her birthday, my Dad's cousin came into town and helped make their yard more colorful.
He also helped to get the drip irrigation working so all the new plants would stay watered. Without water they die very quickly in the Las Vegas sun.
Here is the new look to the front yard. Mom got to pick all the new flowers.

Every pot now has a plant and the backyard looks so colorful now.
For her birthday cake she picked out a yummy raspberry crumb bar. We didn't have the right numbers for her birthday candles but she didn't mind. She even changed them again herself.
Silly Mom, she made the candles say 20. She likes to say she is celebrating the 1st anniversary of her 29th anniversary of her 29th birthday....you can do the math, but don't tell her what it is.
Dad was pretty happy to have her home too. Happy birthday Mom! Hope you had a fun one! Love you!
