Here is a shot of me and my Daddy-o enjoying ourselves.
And here is a rare view of the hoover dam and bridge.
Along the way there was a guy narrating how Lake Mead was formed, all about the Colorado River and the building of the Hoover Dam. It was a fun history lesson and we were able to watch all the little boats whizzing by. Lake Mead is a huge lake, we only saw a teeny tiny corner of it.
What struck me the most was that even with all that water, the sides of the lake were still bare desert. I guess the ground is too hard and rocky to let anything grow. So different from Washington or Oregon.
